Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes), one of Canada’s leading business law firms, is pleased to announce that two of its partners, Roy Millen and Paul Singh have been honoured as “Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.” The awards ceremony took place last Thursday night at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

“We are very proud of Roy and Paul for their achievements,” said Brock Gibson, the Firm’s Chair. “They are both excellent lawyers who serve their clients well, and I congratulate them on behalf of the Firm.”

Paul Singh shares his time between Toronto and Calgary and focuses on corporate and commercial law, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and energy. He has advised public and private corporations, as well as institutional investors, on a broad range of domestic and international commercial transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, reorganizations and financing transactions.

Roy Millen is based in Vancouver and carries on a diverse practice with particular experience in aboriginal law, commercial litigation and international trade. Clients appreciate Roy's ability to provide prompt, straightforward and business-savvy advice in areas of the law that are complex and continually evolving.
