Anne-Catherine's practice primarily focuses on environmental, energy, aboriginal and mining law. She also advises clients on matters relating to general corporate and commercial matters, administrative law and other regulatory matters.

With respect to environmental law, Anne-Catherine advises clients on their environmental obligations generally as well as on matters relating to various permitting requirements and environmental assessment processes, obligations with respect to greenhouse gas emissions and the Quebec cap and trade system, recycling and product stewardship programs, the rehabilitation of contaminated lands, mine closure and restoration, the protection of water and fisheries, the transportation, management and treatment of hazardous substances, and the protection of endangered species. Anne-Catherine has particular expertise in dealing with contaminated land matters, including commercial and regulatory issues related to land remediation and redevelopment. She has also been involved in the contestation of environmental administrative monetary penalties and in environmental investigations and prosecutions.

Anne-Catherine has participated in a range of transactions in a variety of sectors, including energy, mining and manufacturing. In the energy sector, she has advised a pipeline company on various aspects of the development and operation of various pipeline projects in Québec.

Before joining Blakes, Anne-Catherine spent several months working in Barristers' Chambers at the Inner Temple in London, England. She also previously worked at the Canadian International Development Agency, working primarily on health initiatives in the Caribbean.

Anne-Catherine is fluent in French and English.
