Aude practises in the areas of financial services and business law, both on the national and international stage. She advises domestic and international banks, financial institutions, pension funds and borrowers in connection with various domestic, cross-border and international transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans, acquisition financing, asset-based financing, and project financing. Aude also advises clients in connection with investment fund matters, in particular development finance institutions in their investments in emerging markets.

Prior to joining Blakes, Aude practised for more than three years as a financial services and business lawyer at the Paris office of an international law firm, and for more than two years in the same capacity at the Montréal office of a Canadian law firm.

Aude is fluent in French and English.

  • A syndicate of lenders for the C$725-million project financing of a 272-megawatt wind-farm project in the province of Quebec (Project Finance Americas Deal of the Year 2011, PFI Awards 2011 Renewables Deal of the Year - Americas, Trade Finance Deal of the Year 2011 - Americas (Trade Finance Magazine))
  • A single mezzanine lender for the C$45-million financing of a 100 MW wind-farm project in the province of Quebec
  • A syndicate of lenders for the debt restructuring of Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. by a syndicate of first-lien lenders
  • A guarantor in connection with the financing of a plant in Madagascar
  • The sponsor for the financing of 47 MW of wind-farm projects in France
  • Development finance institutions investing in the fund I&P Afrique Entrepreneurs, supporting the creation and development of African high-potential small- and medium-sized firms and financial institutions, in particular microfinance institutions
  • An investor with respect to its investment in a fund which the primary objective is to achieve a long-term environmental, social and financial return on investment in companies in Asia that have a beneficial impact on the environment or are involved in sustainable environmental technologies or services
