  • Successful defence of application to review pipeline licence (ERCB Review Application No. 1716870) and subsequent pipeline relocation application (2014 ABAER 003)
  • Negotiation and finalization of urban Aboriginal Impact Benefit Agreement to allow commercial development project
  • Successful defence against City of Edmonton water rate complaint (AUC Decision 2013-295)
  • Successful defence of challenge to Ministerial Authorization for 500 kV transmission line (Responsible Electricity Transmission for Albertans Association v. Minister of Infrastructure, 2013 ABQB 162)
  • Approval for new urban underground 230 kV transmission line and substation
  • Environmental assessment, Utilities Commission approval, permitting, defence of judicial challenges and completion of First Nations agreements on new 500 kV transmission line (Upper Nicola Indian Band v. BC (Minister of Environment) 2011 BCSC 388) and new 230 kV transmission project (Tsawwassen Residents Against Higher Voltage Transmission Lines v. BC Utilities Commission, 2007 BCCA 211)
  • Counsel for successful intervener on dispute over ownership of coalbed methane
  • Successful defence of Aboriginal challenges to well approvals (Dene Tha' First Nation v. Alberta (Energy and Utilities Board), 2005 ABCA 68; Apsassin v. BC Oil and Gas Commission, 2004 BCSC 92; Apsassin v. BC Oil and Gas Commission, 2004 BCCA 286)
