Ibrahim returns to Blakes as a 2017-2018 Articling Student after joining the Firm as a Summer Student in 2016. Ibrahim completed his J.D. at the University of Victoria where he served on the UVic Law Student Society as the Vice President of Student Affairs. During his years at UVic, Ibrahim volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and worked with local cultural associations to assist temporary foreign workers; additionally through these associations, Ibrahim used his fluency in Levantine Arabic to interpret for and assist local Syrian refugees who had arrived in Victoria. Ibrahim also attended Hong Kong University during an exchange semester in the Fall of 2016 with some of his fellow articling colleagues.

Prior to law school, Ibrahim received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut, and was a member of the University's varsity basketball team. In his spare time, Ibrahim enjoys basketball, fantasy sports, traveling and spending time outdoors.
