Supreme Court of Canada Addresses Pension Plan Issues
On August 7, 2009, the Supreme Court of Canada handed down its much-anticipated ruling in the case of Elaine Nolan et al. v. Kerry (Canada) Inc. and dismissed the appeal from the decision of the Ontario Court of Appeal in this case.
This is an important case for plan administrators, plan sponsors and their advisers.
