Webster Macdonald has practised extensively in the field of litigation, appearing in courts throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. His litigation experience includes the following areas: oil and gas, product liability, real estate, commercial litigation, professional malpractice, aboriginal and general insurance litigation. He has also acted in professional misconduct cases in numerous fields.
Webster is extensively involved in mediation and arbitration as a dispute resolution technique. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and as well is a graduate of the Harvard Law School program of instruction for lawyers. He has participated in numerous multi-party lawsuits in the construction and energy fields that were successfully concluded via mediation or arbitration.
