Profile
Daniel Ferreira is a Partner practising in the Real Estate and Business Groups. Daniel acts for clients in connection with the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties and real estate financings. He also represents several promoters and financial institutions in connection with major real estate development projects. He is experienced in leasing, having acted for both tenants and landlords in the negotiation of commercial leases, including in the banking services, food and retail industries.
Recently, Daniel worked on transactions involving wind energy and mining businesses, and also participated in the acquisition of shopping centres and office and industrial buildings.
Before joining Blakes in 2004, Daniel worked in London, England, where he was a member of the capital markets group of a leading international law firm. During his stay in London, he was seconded to two major American investment banks.
Daniel is a member of the Quebec Bar Association and The Law Society of England and Wales, and is fluent in French, English and Portuguese.
