Profile

Ian Binnie is a Partner in the Financial Services Group. His practice encompasses a broad range of financing transactions and financial regulatory matters. He has extensive experience in commercial lending, both domestically and internationally, including bilateral and syndicated lending, asset-based lending, project finance, second lien and other forms of subordinated lending, securitization and derivatives transactions, and First Nations finance. He has particular interest and expertise in personal property security matters, and has participated in law reform initiatives in this field.
