Sébastien Guy is a Partner in the Litigation Group. He specializes in commercial litigation with an emphasis on, among other, manufacturer's liability, extraordinary remedies (e.g., seizures and injunctions), commercial arbitration and class actions. Sébastien represents manufacturers, financial institutions, manufacturing concerns, real estate companies, trust companies and telecommunications corporations.
Sébastien is also part of the Restructuring & Insolvency Group. He represented various creditors, trustees and debtors in relation to large restructuring matters.
Sébastien is a member of the Montréal Bar, the Quebec Bar and the Canadian Bar Association. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Association Cycliste en Développement des affaires (ACDA).

- Defending a trust company in a large class action involving various allegations of fraud and appropriation of money invested by 9,200 investors in various mutual funds
- Representing a large international corporation working in the field of education and organizational development for large companies in a litigation involving a former licensee
- Defended a public high-tech corporation in a litigation concerning the ownership of a software source code
- Defended the largest Canadian air carrier in various commercial arbitrations
- Defended a large U.S. manufacturer of marine gear in a remedy for hidden defects
- Represented financial institutions in the realization of securities
- Represented various creditors in large restructuring matters
- Defended directors prosecuted for decisions made while their corporation was in insolvency
- Represented various financial institutions, including in a remedy that shed light on a number of fraudulent and illegal practices involving credit cards and where the opposing party was personally sentenced to reimburse solicitor and client costs
