About Victoria

Victoria's practice focuses on commercial lending, debt financing and acquisition finance, as well as related corporate matters. She has experience working on secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, bilateral and syndicated loan facilities, domestic and cross-border financings and corporate reorganizations. She also has particular expertise in structuring and negotiating syndicated facilities.

Victoria works with numerous domestic and foreign financial institutions, private equity funds and corporations.  She is frequently retained by other law firms to act as agent's counsel in respect of the Canadian aspects of multi-jurisdictional financings. She advises lenders and borrowers in various industry sectors, including mining.

Previously, Victoria advised on compliance with federal and provincial legislation.  She worked with a variety of financial institutions and regulators, including the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC).
