Tim's practice focuses on advising clients on a range of commercial transactions with an emphasis on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, international joint ventures, and reorganizations.

Tim relocated to the Gulf Region in October 2009 to help open the Firm's offices in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and prior to that time, worked in the Toronto office.

Tim speaks Dutch and Turkish.

  • Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP) on the sale of its equity interest in Alexandria Carbon Black Company to Aditya Birla Group

  • Equinox Minerals Limited on its A$1.2-billion acquisition of Citadel Resource Group Limited

  • Global Banking Corporation on its proposed acquisition of 11 per cent of S Tel, India, a joint venture established between Batelco and the Siva Group

  • Genworth Financial, Inc. and Genworth MI Canada Inc. on the C$950-million initial public offering of Genworth MI Canada

  • Agents in connection with the C$234-million initial public offering and private placement of class A and class J shares by Cymbria Corporation
