Peter is a member of the Competition, Antitrust & Foreign Investment group at Blakes, widely regarded as the leading competition law practice in Canada.

Peter advises on all aspects of competition law, including merger review, joint ventures and strategic alliances, criminal and civil investigations, and regulatory compliance matters. He also advises on foreign investment merger review under the Investment Canada Act and misleading advertising. Peter has worked with clients in a number of Canada's key industries including telecommunications, financial technology, consumer products, life sciences, mining and energy.

Peter's competition law practice is complemented by a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Blakes, Peter worked as a Member's Assistant for a Member of Parliament, and as a research assistant for Professor Jacob Ziegel.
