Amir’s practice focuses on privacy, intellectual property and regulatory law. He advises clients on their copyright and trade-mark rights, current and developing privacy law obligations, and regulatory compliance matters. He also represents clients in litigation resulting from copyright, trade-mark and patent disputes.
While at law school, Amir worked as a Caseworker at Downtown Legal Services, representing criminal defendants at trial before the Ontario Court of Justice. He also competed in the Harold G. Fox Canadian Intellectual Property Moot, where he was named Best Oral Advocate and received the award for Best Respondent Factum.
