About William

Will maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. He has experience assisting with matters in a variety of areas including complex tort and contractual disputes, class action defence, product liability claims, administrative and regulatory proceedings, and environmental disputes. Will has assisted with representing domestic and international clients in a broad range of industries including banking, investment and financial services, technology, industrial, retail and insurance.

As part of his environmental practice, Will has experience assisting with the environmental aspects of corporate, commercial, and property-related transactions and investments. He helps to provide advice to clients navigating the complex environmental regulatory compliance landscape.

When not advocating for clients, Will enjoys volunteering with non-profit organizations such as Pro Bono Ontario, and with Blakes Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) mentoring program.

Will joined Blakes as a Summer Student in 2020 and subsequently articled with the Firm.
