Board Opportunities for Women General Counsel: Building, Leveraging and Accessing Powerful Networks

Board Opportunities for Women General Counsel: Building, Leveraging and Accessing Powerful Networks
Toronto, November 13, 2019 - 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Presented in Partnership with Women General Counsel Canada and Women Get On Board

We are pleased to invite you to our 4th Annual Women GCs on Boards workshop, a cornerstone program in our ongoing series dedicated to helping women GCs leverage their business and strategic skill sets and broaden and deepen their networks to better position themselves to secure opportunities on boards.

This year’s workshop will feature an interactive program on how to build and leverage your network led by Tiziana Casciaro, a professor of organizational behaviour at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Tiziana will present cutting-edge research on the science of networks and unpack the way in which women network, lead and are perceived as leaders. The application of these learnings in your board pursuits will be explored in the second half of our workshop in facilitated table discussions led by directors.

The program will provide practical tools on how to build and effectively leverage your network and access other networks in support of your board aspirations and leadership opportunities.

We hope you can join us for this interactive program where we will also share the results of the Blakes Board Report: Opportunities for Women General Counsel.

A detailed agenda will be available in September. We look forward to seeing you at the workshop.
