Law Clerk Series: Mindfulness at Work

Law Clerk Series: Mindfulness at Work
Toronto, 7 avril 2020 - 12:00

Mindfulness trains our attention and awareness in a manner that allows us to become more self-aware, more connected to others and more strategic when identifying priorities and pursuing action. With the daily pressures that can arise in the workplace, it’s important for individuals to develop the tools necessary to manage their mindsets. Practising mindfulness leads to better self-awareness that benefits our relationships and the workplace at large. When we learn to embrace our own discomfort, we are better able to free ourselves from the debilitating effects of stress, anxiety and constant self-criticism.

This program will be led by Dr. Ellen Choi, Assistant Professor in HRM/OB in the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. Dr. Choi is an organizational psychologist with training in the fields of social psychology and organizational behaviour.
