Competition and antitrust scrutiny has been intensifying around the world, with a polarizing regulatory shake-up in the U.S. and calls for a trans-Atlantic crackdown on Big Tech. As the Commissioner of Competition launches new investigations and has access to increased resources, how far will Canada go to follow suit?
Join us for a discussion on how recent cases, government initiatives and international developments may influence the future of competition law in Canada.
The session will be moderated by Randall Hofley, former Competition Bureau General Counsel and Senior Enforcement Advisor, and will include practical advice for in-house counsel and business leaders on how to prepare for potential changes.
After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.
