  • Assisting clients to consult, negotiate and build relationships with indigenous communities affected by project development

  • Advising a mining company on a range of environmental issues during the development of a large-scale mining project, including environmental assessment certificate compliance, remediation and restoration obligations, and wildlife and protected species management

  • Representing clients in claims for clean-up costs associated with contaminated sites

  • Representing clients in various industries in the defence and resolution of regulatory charges

Professional Activities

Rochelle currently serves on the board of the Vancouver Bar Association and the executive of the CBABC environmental law section. She is also a member of the CBABC civil litigation, Aboriginal law, and young lawyer sections, and serves as a CBA mentor to incoming law students.
