  • Successfully obtaining summary dismissal at the Queen's Bench and Court of Appeal levels on multiple matters

  • Successfully obtaining and defending injunction applications to enforce non-competition covenants

  • Successfully upholding and enforcing a non-competition agreement for a Canadian paint and coatings manufacturer

  • Successfully obtaining judgment for a senior employee in connection with his wrongful dismissal

  • Managing executive wrongful dismissal litigation involving incompetence, insubordination and performance issues

  • Successfully representing employers and employees in human rights complaints

  • Pursuing remedies for employers in relation to employee theft and fraud

  • Preparing and drafting executive employment agreements, independent contractor agreements and workplace policies (including drug and alcohol policies)

  • Assisting companies with cybersecurity breaches including notifications to affected individuals and regulators

  • Providing key employment, labour and privacy-related advice on multiple transactions
