  • successfully defending a Canadian manufacturer of health products in an expedited 2-month domestic arbitration proceeding as co-counsel, with 90% of actual reasonable legal fees and disbursements awarded

  • successfully helping advise a Canadian bank on its substantive and procedural rights before a provincial consumer protection tribunal concerning a potential eight-figure monetary penalty

  • advising a Canadian mining company on the expected expropriation of its mineral claims by the government of British Columbia

  • acting as junior counsel to the British Columbia subsidiary of a major international mining company on an application before the British Columbia Supreme Court to strike limitation-barred amendments

  • advising a leading New Zealand engineering company on the scope of its exclusive supply agreement with a US-based entity

  • helping advise an American not-for-profit concerning its disputed voting rights on the board of its sister Canadian organization

Professional Activities

Tunç is the co-president of the BC Chapter of Runnymede Society. Runnymede Society is a Canadian non-partisan organization dedicated to debating legal ideas that engage the rule of law, constitutionalism, and individual liberty.
