Aldona has represented clients on a wide range of employment issues, including statutory compliance, terminations, wrongful dismissal, employment policies, human rights complaints and employment contracts, before both the Quebec and British Columbia Labour Relations Boards, the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, the Employment Standards Tribunal and in court. She also frequently advises corporations on the employment law ramifications of corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, and provides advice to employers and employees in negotiating and drafting employment contracts.
Aldona's clients operate in a variety of industries such as high tech, biotech, financial services, pharmaceutical, medical products, forestry, mining, manufacturing and service.
Before joining our Montréal office in February 2007, Aldona practised labour and employment law in the Firm's Vancouver office for 10 years.
