Sean joins Blakes as an Articling Student. He received his J.D. from Western University where he was awarded the Dean of Law Entrance Scholarship. While at law school, Sean worked as a research assistant for his bankruptcy and insolvency professor and helped draft and edit the newest edition of the course textbook. He was also co-director of the Western Law Peer Support Program and acted as a tutor for first year students.
In the summers off from law school, Sean volunteered with UBC’s Law Students' Legal Advice Program and managed files dealing with contractual disputes, landlord and tenant issues, and immigration advice.
Before attending law school, Sean obtained his B.A. in psychology from the University of British Columbia and worked as a legal administrative assistant for two different insurance law firms.
When not in the office, Sean can be found in the kitchen, exploring local patios, or walking along the Sea Wall.
