David maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice, with a focus on environmental and Indigenous law matters. He regularly assists clients in a variety of industries, including mining and waste management. He advises on project permits and approvals, compliance with regulatory requirements, and environmental assessments. David has experience supporting the litigation of contaminated sites, regulatory offences, and complex contractual disputes. He also provides advice on building relationships and negotiating agreements with Indigenous communities.
David joined Blakes as a summer student and subsequently articled with the Firm.
While at law school, David worked as a legal researcher for the Canadian Institute of Resources Law.
