Jasmine works principally on secured lending and structured finance transactions, with a particular emphasis on aviation finance. She has experience in domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions and has represented both borrowers and lenders in connection with secured and unsecured bilateral and syndicated loan structures.
Jasmine also advises on aviation commercial and regulatory matters for financiers, lessors, investment funds, manufacturers and other participants in the aviation industry.
Before joining Blakes, Jasmine practised in the global transportation and aerospace finance group at a reputable law firm in New York. Her practice focused on aircraft finance, acquisition and leasing. She has experience representing lenders, lessors and airlines in sale-purchase, leasing, secured finance and capital markets transactions.
While at Blakes, Jasmine is working on an external secondment for the Aviation Working Group on an international project to track Contracting States’ compliance with the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and its associated Aircraft Protocol.
