Professional Activities

Bruce was a governor and member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Tax Foundation, and has been a Canadian reporter for the International Fiscal Association and a member of the Taxation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.

Bruce has participated regularly in a biannual conference for senior tax professionals focusing on resource taxation and has co-authored a book on Canadian mining taxation. He has prepared a study on mining taxes for the B.C. provincial government. He has also been a participant, chairperson and organizer at national and provincial tax conferences and seminars for the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the Canada Revenue Agency and other organizations.
