Ronak Shah

Professional Activities

Ronak is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and the South Asian Bar Association. He currently serves on the OBA's Privacy and Access to Information Law Executive as a public affairs liaison executive and previously served on its Health and Administrative Law Executives.

Ronak also has experience in global health, having worked at a leading think-tank where he advised the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and several African countries on ways to improve health using local innovations. He was on the board of directors for Buddies in Bad Times, a Toronto-based queer theatre company from 2018 to 2020, has co-chaired the "Give a Night" fundraiser for HIV/AIDS initiatives and has volunteered for Law Help Ontario's Civil Litigation Project.
