Tori's practice is primarily on assisting clients with general corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on the energy industry. She has assisted clients on a range of matters and transactions, including asset acquisitions and dispositions, internal reorganizations and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Tori's experience includes analyzing and drafting of corporate and transactional documents, corporate charter documents, and conducting corporate due diligence.
As an articling student, Tori spent three months working in the legal group at a leading Canadian energy company as part of a secondment, researching and advising on upstream, midstream and downstream matters. Prior to joining Blakes, Victoria obtained industry experience working as an engineer at both a mid-sized and a large international oil and gas company.
