  • Defending a C$20-billion claim seeking Aboriginal title and rights to a significant portion of southern Alberta

  • Acting for a national telecommunications company in private arbitration

  • Advising industry clients regarding the duty to consult with Indigenous groups in the context of energy and other major project developments

  • Acting for a power company in a dispute arising from a large P3 infrastructure project

  • Defending professional liability claims brought against members of the health and legal sectors

Professional Activities

Wajeeha frequently provides pro bono legal services to unrepresented litigants through the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench Amicus Program. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association, and The Advocates’ Society.
