Blakes has been named Canada’s leading law firm brand by a significant margin in the Acritas Canadian Law Firm Brand Index 2019. This is the fourth consecutive year Blakes has earned the top spot and the fifth time since the Canadian Index was introduced in 2012.
The Firm is in the number-one position on five of the six core metrics: awareness, favourability, consideration for top-level litigation and M&A, and international (inbound) use.
“This recognition is particularly meaningful because it’s based on feedback from a representative cross-section of businesses with legal needs in Canada,” said Rob Granatstein, Firm Managing Partner. “These results reflect the impact of our efforts across all offices, industry groups and practice areas to build robust relationships with our clients and help them succeed.”
Acritas interviewed 259 senior legal buyers from leading businesses in Canada and 105 respondents from foreign multinationals with legal needs in Canada. There is no law firm input into this process.
