Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes or the Firm) is Canada’s leading law firm brand for the eighth consecutive year according to Thomson Reuters. This is the ninth time Blakes has earned the top spot since the report was launched in the Canadian market in 2012.

The data-driven recognition draws on feedback from 271 senior corporate leaders from Canada and around the globe. Summarizing why Blakes remains the law firm of choice for respondents, Thomson Reuters reports: 

“Blakes leads the Canadian market in top-of-mind awareness — the firm more Canadian-based buyers think of first. In addition to being the firm Canadian-based buyers most frequently name in a top-of-mind manner, Blakes is strongly differentiated as the firm buyers use the most for their high-value work.”

According to Thomson Reuters, Blakes is also top of mind for top-level M&A and top-level litigation work in the Canadian market.
