Top-ranked Canadian firm in litigation, M&A and overall brand
Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) has been named as the country’s leading law firm brand for the third consecutive year in the Acritas Canadian Law Firm Brand Index 2018.
Thanks to our clients, Blakes lead over other Canadian law firms in the index is the widest it has been to date.

This is the fourth year that Blakes has held the number one spot since the index was established in 2012.
The 2018 Acritas Canadian Law Firm Brand Index was compiled from the unprompted responses of 250 senior general counsel in Canadian organizations with revenues in excess of US$50-million who were asked about their awareness of, and favourability towards, particular law firms, their assessments of firms for top-level litigation and major M&A, and their actual use of firms for high-value and inbound work.
In addition, a number of elite (US$1-billion-plus revenue organizations) senior in-house counsel outside Canada were asked which firms they used for their legal needs in Canada
