As the business world grows increasingly complex, in-house counsel are encountering increased legal ethics challenges. Once again, Blakes is pleased to bring together a panel of in-house counsel and representatives of The Law Society of British Columbia to discuss these complex issues.
Join us in person at The Stack, or online, for an interactive discussion over breakfast about navigating current ethical issues, risk mitigation and practical solutions. The discussion will focus on issues that in-house counsel and representatives are likely to encounter in their roles, including managing potential conflicts of interest when engaged in multiple roles at the same company, properly maintaining and asserting privilege over internal communications, and communicating with unrepresented individuals both inside and outside the company.
Attendees are encouraged to participate in the discussion and invited to submit suggested topics or scenarios in advance of the presentation.
The session will also be available virtually for anyone unable to attend in person. Please indicate your preferred option in your RSVP.
