About Kari

Kari is responsible for managing all aspects of the Toronto office associate and student programs. Specifically, Kari focusses on the recruitment, integration, professional development, engagement, performance management and compensation of our students and associates. Kari and her team actively assist all of our legal professionals in the advancement of their legal careers.

Prior to joining Blakes, Kari was a partner in the employment and labour department at the Toronto office of a national law firm where she was actively involved as a mentor and member of the student committee.

Professional Activities

Kari is an active member of several internal Firm committees, including the Student Committee, the Legal Personnel Committee, the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and the Pro Bono Committee.
