About Angad

Angad is an Associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency group at Blakes, which is widely recognized as one of Canada's leading restructuring practices. He advises debtors, creditors, court officers, purchasers and other stakeholders in complex restructuring and insolvency proceedings across a range of industries. Angad has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia and various administrative tribunals.

Prior to joining Blakes, Angad worked as an associate at another leading Canadian law firm and at one of Canada’s most prominent litigation boutiques. Before commencing his legal career, Angad completed an internship at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, serving within the Immediate Office of the Registrar — the group supporting one of the Court's three elected principal heads of its largest organ — and worked closely with the Registrar's Chief of Staff.
