  • ABO Wind Canada with regard to providing legal and regulatory advice for applications to the Alberta Utilities Commission to construct and operate the 514.6 MW Buffalo Plains Wind Farm project located near Lomond, Alberta, which is the largest wind farm project proposed in Canada

  • Suncor Energy Inc. with regard to its participation in the British Columbia Utilities Commission proceeding regarding public electric vehicle fast charging rates proposed by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority

  • Elemental Energy Renewables Inc. with regard to providing legal and regulatory advice for applications to the Alberta Utilities Commission to construct and operate the 20.1 MW East Strathmore solar project located near Strathmore, Alberta

  • Berkshire Hathaway Energy Canada with regard to providing legal and regulatory advice for applications to the Alberta Utilities Commission to construct and operate the 117 MW Rattlesnake Ridge Wind project located near Medicine Hat, Alberta

  • ENMAX Power Corp. in various facilities applications before the Alberta Utilities Commission

  • Representing a pipeline company with regard to various land rights acquisition and utility crossing proceedings before the Canada Energy Regulator

  • Representing a commercial property owner in the appeal of an Environmental Protection Order before the Alberta Environmental Appeals Board

  • Advising clients in connection with regulatory compliance and litigation involving contaminated sites, including responding to contaminant releases and communicating with applicable regulators

  • Preparing complex access and reclamation agreements related to oilfield activities regulated by the Alberta Energy Regulator

  • Assisting with the negotiation of surface land rights agreements between a pipeline company and private landowners in connection with a pipeline licence amendment application

  • Advising and representing clients in compensation proceedings before the Alberta Land and Property Rights Tribunal (previously the Alberta Surface Rights Board)

  • Participating in proceedings before the Alberta Energy Regulator and Alberta Land and Property Rights Tribunal involving the determination of ongoing licensee liability

  • Advising an international oil and gas shipper in connection with Canadian pipeline tariffs and walk-up shipper regulations

  • Assisting with regulatory and environmental due diligence reviews associated with potential purchase, sales, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions of various companies
