Thomas joins the Firm as a Summer Law Student and is currently pursuing his J.D. at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law. During his studies, Thomas has been awarded multiple Schulich Scholarships in Law, and the Clyde W. Sperry Prize for excellence in Property Law. He has gained valuable experience providing pro bono refugee aid at Spryfield's Atlantic Refugee and Immigrant Services, and through volunteering for the Tenants' Rights Project run by Dalhousie Legal Aid Service.
Prior to law school, Thomas earned his bachelor of arts from the University of British Columbia, specializing in English Literature. He wrote his Honours Thesis on depictions of family trauma in Vancouver historical fiction.
