Rita has been with the Corporate Services Department since 1994. She began her career at Blakes as a corporate search clerk conducting corporate and securities searches and attending to related filings. She currently assists senior executives and in-house counsel of clients in the financial services and retail sectors.

Rita is experienced in corporate reorganizations and due diligence. Her duties also include the incorporation and ongoing maintenance of new business in Canada, routine corporate maintenance and filings, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, amendments, annual resolutions, business name, partnership and limited partnership registrations and renewals throughout Canada, annual return filings, as well as extraprovincial registrations and maintenance across Canada.

Rita has also assisted with organizing closings and preparing related materials.
