About Carissa

Carissa Wong returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after summering with the Firm in 2024. She received her JD from the Osgoode Hall Law School where she graduated within the top 7% of the class.

During her studies, Carissa was awarded the John McCamus Contracts Prize and a prize for the student who best demonstrates academic performance and student leadership. She has been involved with numerous school clubs including holding the role as co-president of the Asian Law Students Association. Carissa has also competed in various moot competitions and was presented with two Top 5 Oralist awards.

Prior to law school, Carissa earned her bachelor of commerce with a specialization in marketing and business law from the University of British Columbia.
