Before law school, Carol pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Alberta. She then transitioned into a career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Foothills Medical Centre before obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Mount Royal University. Eventually, she attended the University of Alberta for law school.

During law school, Carol is still a practicing Sonographer while also being involved in university’s student legal services civil/family and criminal law projects, as well as serving as the finance executive for the University of Alberta Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers chapter.

Outside of school, she enjoys discovering great new restaurants, indulging in cocktails, wine and cheese, and baking, with Lemon meringue eclairs as her specialty.
