About Chaein
Chaein is an Articling Student in the Capital Markets (Securities) group. She returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2025 as a summer student.
Chaein completed her juris doctor at the University of Alberta and spent a semester abroad as a visiting law student at the University of Oxford. During her studies, Chaein worked as a research assistant and served on the Alberta Law Review and Student Articling Committee.
Prior to attending law school, she studied psychology and biology at the University of British Columbia.
Chaein is fluent in English and Korean.
