About Chantelle

Chantelle advises on all aspects of competition law, including merger review, abuse of dominance, joint ventures and strategic alliances, criminal and civil litigation, marketing and distribution practices, cartel investigations and regulatory compliance. She also advises on foreign investment merger review under the Investment Canada Act.

Select Experience

Representative matters in which Chantelle has been involved include:

  • Bell Media Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BCE Inc., in its C$410-million acquisition of the Canadian business of OUTFRONT Media Inc.

  • Waste Management Inc. on its US$7.2-billion acquisition of Stericycle, Inc.

  • Novo Holdings and Novo Nordisk in connection with Novo Holdings' US$16.5-billion acquisition of Catalent, Inc. and the subsequent acquisition of three Catalent facilities by Novo Nordisk

  • Pembina Pipeline Corporation on its acquisition of Enbridge Inc.’s joint-venture interests in Alliance Pipeline, Aux Sable and NRGreen for C$3.1-billion

While at law school, Chantelle received the following awards for her work advancing the rights of equity-deserving communities across Ontario:
