Crystal joins Blakes after completing her first year of law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, Crystal acted as a Suit Up Campaign and Dress for Success Coordinator with the Allard Women’s Caucus. She also acted as a Workshop Volunteer for Legal Education Outreach and Treasurer for the Allard Legal Tech Club. Currently, Crystal is a Co-President for the Allard Women’s Caucus. Prior to and while attending law school, Crystal worked as a Competition Law Officer for the Competition Bureau.

Prior to law school, Crystal obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing with a concentration in Business Law and International Business. During her undergraduate studies, Crystal also worked part time at a large Canadian Bank and was a Teaching Assistant for several courses.

In her spare time, Crystal enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and snowboarding.
