About Audra

Audra advises on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and all aspects of corporate and commercial law.

She represents private equity sponsors and private companies in connection with a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions. In particular, she has assisted clients with leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, recapitalizations, joint ventures, spinoffs, carveouts, and restructurings.

Audra also serves as outside general counsel to private companies with respect to ongoing matters. These matters involve issues relating to corporate structure, corporate governance, shareholder and co-investor relations, management incentive plans, debt facilities, equity financings, executive compensation, and commercial arrangements.

Her experience spans multiple sectors, including technology, health care, manufacturing, communications and personal wellness.

Prior to joining Blakes, Audra was a partner in the private equity and M&A groups at a preeminent global law firm in Washington, D.C. She also practised private equity and M&A at a leading international law firm in New York.

  • Primus Capital on its sale of Forte Research Systems, a standards-based clinical research technology solutions provider

  • Primus Capital on its acquisition TrackVia, a low-code workflow platform for operations

  • JMI Equity on its equity investment in AlertMedia, an emergency communication software platform

  • The PromptCare Companies, a portfolio company of The Halifax Group and healthcare provider, on its acquisitions of Hollywood Medical Supply and Premier Specialty Infusion
