About Dawood
Dawood joins Blakes as a Summer Law Student. Dawood completed his second year of law school at Queen's University where he was an editor for the Queen's Law Journal.
As a caseworker at the Queen's Business Law Clinic, he assisted in providing legal services to Kingston businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Continuing as a research assistant at the clinic, he helped expand trademark services and guided incoming student-caseworkers through client matters.
Prior to attending law school, Dawood graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor in liberal arts. He attended fellowships at think tanks in Washington, DC, New York City and Montreal. Professionally, he worked as a research assistant in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary. He also worked in construction waste management and materials recovery.
