About Dawood
Dawood joins Blakes as a Summer Law Student. Dawood completed his second year of law school at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. He was an editor for the Queen’s Law Journal.
As a caseworker at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, he assisted in providing legal services to Kingston businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. Continuing as a research assistant at the, he helped expand trademark services, and guided incoming student-caseworkers with their file work.
Prior to attending law school, Dawood graduate from Concordia University with a bachelor in liberal arts. He attended fellowships at think tanks in Washington, DC, New York City, and Montreal. Professionally, he also worked as a research assistant at the Faculty of Social Work, at the University of Calgary. He also worked in construction waste management and materials recovery.
