Ahmed practices in all areas of tax law with an emphasis on tax controversy and litigation. He manages the dispute resolution process by providing advice and representation in respect of Canada Revenue Agency audits and oral and written representation before the Tax Court of Canada. Ahmed's experience encompasses preparing notices of objection and notices of appeal, managing document and representation requirements, and leading examinations and arguments before the courts. His practice also includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and restructuring, and personal tax matters.
Prior to becoming an associate, Ahmed clerked at the Tax Court of Canada.
