About Emma

Emma is an Articling Student in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. She returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2025 as a summer student.

Emma graduated from the University of Alberta with a juris doctor. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant, as a bilingual student editor for the Centre for Constitutional Studies, and as a volunteer with a low-income legal information clinic. She also competed in the Laskin and Gale Cup moots.

Prior to law school, she studied conflict studies and human rights at the University of Ottawa.

Emma is fluent in English and French.
