International Trade and Sanctions

Brady has provided counsel in relation to complex international trade issues including sanctions, import and export restrictions and controls, trade remedies, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border disputes involving conflicts of laws. Professional Activities

Brady is an adjunct professor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He has also been a guest lecturer in international trade law and a moot coach for UBC's Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team.

Brady frequently publishes in his areas of expertise. He is the author of The Constitutional Boundaries of European Fiscal Federalism (Cambridge University Press, 2022), and he has written articles on international topics for leading academic journals, including the European Law Review and the European Investment Law and Arbitration Review.

Brady is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters, Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association, Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners, the Centre of European Legal Studies, the Irish Society for European Law, and the Society for Legal Scholars.
