Jenna has a broad corporate commercial litigation practice with experience in securities litigation, class actions, privacy and cybersecurity matters. She has assisted clients with regulatory compliance and internal investigations. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C) she has advised clients on a broad range of privacy matters, including responding to data breaches, handling access-to-information requests, complying with data protection laws, and drafting privacy policies.
Jenna has appeared in the British Columbia Court of Appeal, British Columbia Supreme Court, British Columbia Provincial Court and in the British Columbia Securities Commission. She has participated in regulatory matters before the Ontario Securities Commission, the Alberta Securities Commission and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association.
Prior to joining Blakes, Jenna spent a summer working at a global Chinese law firm in Hong Kong. She spent a decade working in the public markets, writing extensively about public companies.
