About Gabrielle
Gabrielle is an Articling Student in the Intellectual Property group. She returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2024 as a 1L summer student.
Gabrielle earned her juris doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was a Dean's Gold Key Recipient. During law school, she was a Fellow with the IP Innovation Clinic, participated in the International and Transnational Law Intensive Program, interned at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, and served as a junior caseworker with the Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP).
Prior to law school, Gabrielle earned a bachelor of science from McMaster University. Before and during her legal studies, she held a number of research-focused roles, including positions with St. Michael's Hospital and Women's College Hospital. Gabrielle is also a board member of STaBL Foundation, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to computer science education and innovation through research, training and mentorship programs for learners and educators worldwide.
